Let The Good Times Roll! Believe me, it’s hard to imagine that another year has come and gone since we last started planning the annual Krewe of Roux Mardi Gras Ball. But what a fabulous night it was and trust me, we’re looking to do it again!!!
Fat Tuesday arrives a little later this year and the 2017 Memphis gala has been scheduled accordingly. The date is Saturday, February 18th and is once again being held at The Great Hall in Germantown.
Individual tickets along with tables for 8 or 10 are available now and may be purchased by contacting me by email or my cell phone. Tickets are being offered at the same $50.00 price as last year. The event will be 100% reserved seating like previous years. The earlier you purchase your tickets, the better your seats. Tables for 10 are $500.00, the tables for 8 are $400.00 and individual tickets are $50.00 each. Please help us with our planning by purchasing your tickets early!
As in the past, we will offer the very best Louisiana cuisine! Also as in the past, the event will be BYOB and we’ll be providing set-ups and water. For liability purposes, venues don’t typically allow groups to bring in your own food or your own beverages. This truly makes the $50.00 price of a ticket extremely cheap at twice that amount! You know it’s true!!!
For those of you who have not attended this event in the past, please know that Mardi Gras costumes are strongly encouraged and truly add to the evening fun. For those who might not be in the mood to play dress-up, we ask that the ladies wear cocktail dresses and the men wear slacks, dress shirts and a sports coat - ties are not necessary.
One of the more popular highlights has been our face painting booth. We’re looking to bring back Amy Stone and opening the doors an hour early for those looking to get a head start on mingling or having their face painted.
Our doors will open at 6:00 and the official time of the event is 7:00 to 11:00.
This year’s entertainment will once again be provided by one of Memphis’ hottest Top 40 dance bands, The Dantones. If anything, you know The Krewe Of Roux brings in the best of entertainment and this year will be no different! Anyone who has experienced this event knows it’s special and we just hope you’ll be a part of this very special night!
